All domestic shipping from Bird in Hand is via United Parcel Service
(UPS). Unless otherwise specified, all shipments within the continental
United Sates will be shipped by standard UPS ground. Shipments to
Hawaii and Alaska require UPS 2nd Day Air. UPS Next Day Air is available.
Our normal pickup time is at approximately 2pm PST Monday through
Friday. If your online order is received before 12noon Monday through
Friday, all items are in stock, and payment is made by credit card,
your order will usually ship the same day. Otherwise, your order
will usually ship the next business day. A tracking number is available
for all shipments and will be provided on request.
For all domestic shipments, you may place your order
online and use the UPS Rate Selection Tool for your shipping options.
You will only be charged the shipping amount billed by UPS, no
handling fee will be charged.
Payment can be processed by credit card (V, MC, D, AX) via our
secure server on the website or you may call us and we can process
your order over the phone immediately. Call 530-893-1414 x29 to
reach the sales floor. If you have placed an order on the website
and need to call with billing information, please ask for Bob or
Thad.
When will my order arrive?
Time in transit questions can generally be answered by the image
below. Shipments are based out of Chico, California. The map shows
the approximate shipping time from our door to your location when
shipped by UPS standard ground. Again, shipments to Alask, Hawaii,
and Puerto Rico require 2nd Day Air. This map is only an approximation,
specific transit times will vary based on your zip code, weather
conditions, and other variables that can affect the shipping industry.

Due to security issues, we cannot ship to P.O. boxes. All deliveries
must be made to a residence or place of business.
International shipping, to locales outisde of the United States,
require additional shipping requirements. You will be contacted
via e-mail if you place an international order to agree on shipping
arrangements.
Due to a high incidence of credit card fraud, payment for most
international orders require that payment be made by bank check
(cashiers check) or money order. If you have placed an international
order you will receive an e-mail with additional information.
APO and FPO addresses require shipment by USPS. We prefer to ship
via USPS Priority Mail or USPS Global Express Mail, which will include
a tracking number. The exact shipping amount will vary depending
on locale and the dimensions of the package. You will be contact
via e-mail with the shipping options and rates for your address.
Shipping charges will not be refunded on returns.
