Can be set for responsive play or unresponsive.

In my experience, the yo-yo is REALLY durable. I mean drops, hit against stuff...it's sick how much abuse this takes.

However, if you use the hard plastic shuttles, they have cracked on some of my club members. (usually from overtightening the yo-yo...oops) The flexible rubbery ones are actually better in my opinion. You can do almost anything with a Velocity. I HIGHLY recommend it as a beginner yo-yo.
