YoYoFactory set out on a quest to produce the highest performance yo-yo that they could and created the Catch-22. The Catch-22 is a bi-metallic aluminum and titanium creation with massive rim weight. The C13 is a similar creation precision crafted out of aluminum with maximum rim weight.
By machining the C13 out of aluminum, the cost has been kept down but the performance has not been sacrificed. This percentage of rim weight is about as high as can be accomplished in a yo-yo for long spins and stable play.
Uses a YoYoFactory SPEC bearing, K-pads for response, and a wide gap.
The C13 is manufactured with stubs that can accept hubstacks but because of the extreme rim weight and tight balance tolerances, addition of hubstacks will likely cause vibration.
